I am a multimedia editor and business journalist with a passion for writing and strategic communications. I have nearly 20 years of experience writing about the tremendous changes in PR, marketing and advertising wrought by the Internet and social media.
I have experience as a daily reporter, writer and editor. Throughout my career I have helped to manage, launch and create content for several media-related companies and PR/marketing agencies including Crain Communications, Access Intelligence, Cision, the Kern Organization (an Omnicom agency), Peppercomm and ZoomInfo. I have been a guest speaker at several PR and marketing related conferences, created online video programming, hosted webinars and produced live events.
I’m currently editorial director at management consulting company Gould+Partners, where I’m responsible for driving editorial content and programming and brand management. I am also an assignment editor and contributing writer for the ANA (Association of National Advertisers), the premier marketing and advertising association, with more than 1,000 members encompassing 15,000 brands. I help to develop content for ANA Newsstand and write about issues ranging from the challenges facing traditional retailers in a digital age to the explosive growth in online video to the impact influencer marketing is having on brand communications.
